Now finally we don't need any of ADB between windows and Android, definitely this is not safe. If Windows lag or freeze, try Google "xda fix usb tethering lags". Great help.

Great, but tricky. Allow me to explain, there's no real type of confirmation (at least on my device) and it's hard to tell if anything is actually working but after running a dl test on my Android head unit my dl speeds were back up to the max even after my hotspot limit. In case anyone is having problems and also had a Moto x , follow these steps; turn on hotspot and connect desired device(s), then open up your vpn (I recommend NordVPN) and connect to your favorite server, then open the tethernet app and click on the share button(watch for a quick toast notification that's the only confirmation you get) then you're good to go!

Latest version works great , had turn security off on hotspot ,even works when my ISP tries turning VPN off hotspot shield works great with it Ur better not using any VPN that's not an open VPN type
