Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Inventory and Asset Tracker on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

The App lets you scan the barcodes in your IT assets using your mobile. The scanned barcodes could be inserted from within the App into your SQL Server database from within the App.

We realized managing assets is laborious. A big special thank you to our customers Ron & Sue who asked for this App! :)

We realized that you need to keep walking around carrying a laptop and a barcode scanner, to scan the barcodes in the assets like laptops, computers, and even assets like furniture like chairs, tables, and so on. This Asset Manager and Barcode Scan App makes it really easy for you! Configure your SQL Server asset databases in the App. Then, walk around, scan the barcodes and insert them into your SQL Server database right from within the App. Asset tracking and management is now within your palm!
