2nd UPDATE: Now in v 2.3.28, apps get backed up, you can see them in a file manager, but none of the recently updated apps show up in the archive tab! UPDATE: V 2.3.28 (May 5 2021) seems to have fixed the crashing issue in 2.3.26, described below: V 2.23.6 crashes when I tap to access the archive tab. I've uninstalled, then re-installed and it worked ok for a day or so. Now it's crashing again on trying to open the archive tab. Galaxy S10, Android 11

Backup =has feature I want for auto backup on installation. Restore = it restores APK files, you need an APKS split package installer to extract APKS files. none of these types of backup/restore apps restore APKS files. But it does save APKS with the necessary data/components for an APKS installer app to extract. All of the other backup/restore apps don't seem to save the data correctly so even the APKS installers can't install their backups. This is far beyond the others for that reason alone

I have been using this App for many years and purchased the Pro Version to remove adds. All worked fine backing up. Recently I needed to use restore but that failed to work. After many unsuccessful attempts I contacted the developer who responded promptly and sent me details to try. His suggestions worked perfectly and I am back up and running again. I can fully recommend this App. The only fault so far as I am concerned is that it requires a rooted phone to allow backup of app data as well.

old version for android 4 and older was flawless. yesterday i tryed to use it on android 10, and i have problem: some apps are backuped with extension " APKS". it can't be reinstalled, app reports error. renaming such file (apks ->apk) results with parsing problem error. please advise.

I purchased and used to use Super Backup & Restore Pro, but it has not been updated in quite a while. I purchased Super Backup & Restore last week. This new version seems to change the extension of APK files it backs up from .APK to .APKS. Why is that? It also does not seem to consistently back up new or updated APK installs from the Play Store. It seems to have particular issues with Google branded APKs. Trying another comment to ask why not all updates get seen by app. Update 03/08/2021-I also find that Super Backup can't install the split APKs that it makes backups of. Still also waiting for any response from the author from the comments I posted in February above.

The ratings are not seen by the developer, email with Screen shots sent but no response and actions. 1. This application is not the fastest. Still holds up the Screen for both, ie to backup or check the archived applications for a particular one. 2. Why there is no prediction on the keyboard while rating, is it keyboard problem? 3. On install of an application Super Back up should automatically back up and notify so. 4. Even the Archived applications are again archived.
