The built-in OCR is actually really solid to read files that are not already a form of text document (PDF or Doc). Plus, you can save the OCR as a text file once the image has been converted to text! So, I just scanned a lengthy college textbook to read on here. It's worth the ten dollars for the full version to get rid of the ads, honestly. Can't recommend highly enough

A fantastic, versatile and customizable reader app and my go-to for years, both as a traditional old-fashioned reading experience app (beats Kindle app and Google Play Book for me) and "make any book/article into an audio-book on the go"-tool. BTW, thank you so much for the option for those of us who already got the Oxford Dictionary to use it as the default @Voice thesaurus!

I have been using this app for approximately 5 months. The ability to change pitch and tone of the voice has been very helpful. I have used this to increase my reading substantially over that time. I did pay for the extra features largely to remove advertising. But it was very useful even before getting the full price edition.

Pros-Great app it helps to hear sentences and or word to know how it sounds, or if you just want to listen to an article while still doing other things in your day-to-day. Cons or things that could be improved on don't know if there is a dictionary function. I'll look harder for it but if not that could be something to add. The last thing would be to have more voices to choose from.

Update: This app has become intolerably buggy. Very unreliable about capturing articles. Incomprehensible folder system. The developer was prompt and helpful as we looked for the problem I thought it was solved but it just keeps happening. Old review: Opens faster than my former article-reading app. Also picks up where it left off better.

Awesome reader! It has helped me a lot with studying as I am able to listen to my notes while I drive and do yard work. It has an option to highlight/bookmark any sections you want to find it easily later as well. I only wish it also had an option to listen to only bookmarked sections. Although, perhaps it does and i don't know it. Overall great app that I have used a lot with consistent performance.
