Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Hydra Notes on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

Hydra Notes is a simple note-taking application that offers you the ability to save notes and photos to your Hydra account. Your notes are saved on the Hydra cloud for free, and are available to only you. Each note can be turned into a secret note.

Secret Notes are notes that require a private PIN to view. Your photos will be hidden from your gallery and only viewable from within the Hydra Notes application.

Hydra Notes is a service provided to you by Hydra, and can also be accessed through The Hydra Hub. Your data is recorded and saved to your Hydra account, and can be viewed from within the Hydra Journal as well.

Added the ability for users to zoom into photos. Fixed a few bugs causing the app to crash for Oreo devices. Made the note list's scrolling smoother. Enjoy!
