The main purpose of CALMS V2 is to to enable an organisation to follow a systematic approach in achieving continual improvement of compressed air energy performance, including energy efficiency, energy security, energy use and consumption of compressed air . These are the same goals as ISO50001 and ISO11011, so CALMS can be a good tool in aiding ISO standard compliance.

CALMS is designed to meet ISO standard requirements applicable to energy use and consumption of compressed air , including ultrasound measurement; documentation and reporting; design and procurement practices for equipment, systems, processes and personnel that contribute to energy performance.

CALMS V2 includes Leak Estimation Chart, Leak Estimation Calculators and Compressed Air Units Conversation.

CALMS V2 with external USB ultrasound device ULD can detect leaks and with FFT evaluate potential leak cost.
