As long as your cell phone is newer and has a good camera and light sensor this app is pretty accurate with led lights converting from LUX to PAR. Also you can tell if your cell phone has a good camera and light sensor on it, if you move your cell phone just 1/4" or less and the numbers change your usually good to go. If you have to move your cell phone a lot and there is a delay in the numbers changing then this app will NOT be accurate for phone.

Awesome. This app will answer meny home growers questions about the light sources they are choosing or using to grow. I hope the numbers be accurate when using the phones built in Ambient light sensor. Keep up the good work..

Seems to work but no real direction on how to calibrate. All it does is open google with no real way to tell which listing is my sensor and where to go from there. Edit: After reaching out to the devs about calibration, they showed they have no customer service. Maybe the app works, maybe it doesn't. Doesn't help that they don't exactly help with the process. If you can figure this app out, great. If you need support from them, forget it. They are more concerned with the app rating.

Its the app ive been waiting years for , forget the multiply by 0.14 nonsense just read the instructions, dial in your parameters and thats all the brainwork done and dusted. Then blue is too little , green is optimal and red is too much... The fact that the developers refer you to Dr Bruce Bugbees lectures as a source of additional understanding is all the reassurance I need that they know what they're doing ... I'd give it ten stars if I could. Bang on

For free.99 you can't beat it! I do not have a scientific instrument to compare it to, nor should I. Having been used to eye balling my light intensity and plant progress in previous experience, having this app to back up my conclusions is great. Helps me ball park immediately how far the lights should be. Thanks!!
