Agreed this isn't an amazing well design piece of software. For Android users however you can easily fix the random stopping of the app. The app stops as android is too agressive on battery management and kills it in the background when it's not being activity used. You can self fix this by going to Settings --> Apps & Notifications --> StayHome@SG --> Advanced --> Battery Optimisation and select "Don't Optimise". On older Androids this may be located in a different area under battery.

Very buggy for android. Although my setting set to remain on in the background, App still shuts down (or crashes) on its own. When reactive app, will prompt to reenter phone number and OTP. What a pain to keep monitoring and doing this many times a day. Power drainer... Within 4-5 hrs, phone lost 50% and phone is very hot.

Drains battery life to unimaginable degrees & crashes constantly. What's even more comical is that you are told that your app must be on at all times.

Heavily drain my battery one night about 50%!!! To zero. Mean no more tracing.
