About this app

WLST Shell is the third of a second generation of programs to be released from the stable of Howard Utilities into the Android market during 2013. This program is specifically targeted at operations and technical support staff using Oracle WebLogic Server.

Although this program has been been certified with WLS 10.3.3, it be possible to be used when connecting to any WLS domain running version 8.1 or later.

WLST Shell allows you, the user, to connect to the WebLogic Server domain and open up the operating system command shell in that domain, in order to run any valid WLST online commands, all from your mobile device,

The WLS domain is connected via USB tethering, or via a wireless connection, or through the mobile network. User authentication will be required to access the domain in the usual way.

You can download the latest copy of the WLST Shell User Guide at http://www.howardintegrationsystems.co.uk/docs/HowardUtilitiesWLSTShellUserGuide.pdf

You will also need to download a copy of the WLS Android plugin onto your server, and deploy it, in order to enable the program to access the domain. This can be found at http://www.howardintegrationsystems.co.uk/products/wls-android-plugin.war

Finally you may be able to check out the WLST Shell features before setting up your own WebLogic domain and/or deploying the Android plugin by connecting to a demo domain (subject to licensing).

We do hope you will enjoy exploring the WLST Shell product for exploring your WLS domain using your mobile device.
