I can't use half the functions because this app is awful. Keeps saying it is updating but doesn't. Keeps saying the collar is disconnected but isn't

I just bought the RX-10, and it wont work. I bought the collar through the app thinking it would be fine and wanting to support the company rather then buying through a 3rd party like Chewy. I have the weather proof collar which works with showing up in the app to use with the app but the RX-10 will not show up in the app. I am a techy person so I know it is not me nor my devices. I tried on 3 different phones. It still works with the door, just not the app.

The app is very slow to sync with the collar and previous updates to the app have reset my settings (causing the fence and bark correction to be turned off). Also, the new style of battery does not fit as well as the old style, so I just leave it in the on position. Good concept, but poor execution. The software has always had issues and it seems to be getting worse. One example: when you edit the settings for a dog and save them, a whole new profile shows up and leaves the old one there.

Could be way better. The app is slow to load. Slow to connect to collar. That is if it even does. The dog pretty much has to be in the same room. Takes forever to load data from collar and last firmware update crashes the app and will not install. The whole system has been subpar. Wish I would have saved the money and stuck with my old system. At least offer a remote for the 5 in 1 collar. Since the app never works.

-APP Review- The app is slightly incomplete and the latest update made bark control useless because the app re-defaults to "monitor only" mode 30 seconds after changing any settings. It is difficult to tell when settings have been saved as there is no save button for most settings screens. It is even more difficult to tell if the settings have been accepted by the BF30 collar (no save button means no feedback success message) -BF-30 Collar- I am on my third collar in just under a year. Dog chewed through the housing of the first collar, the second went for a swim in the lake and never functioned again. The third is failing to interact with the door after the latest app update (11/11/18). Proprietary batteries are extortion. -PowerPet 2 Door- The door functions perfectly and has a nice battery backup option. The frame is thin plastic but it is effective. For install I created an oversize plywood sandwich and tunnel through my exterior door bolted together with flush elevator bolts. I screwed the Powerpet door frame directly to the plywood on each side. Currently the door will not detect the collar. Troubleshooting between the app, collar, and door settings...TBD.

I really dislike this app. On several occasions I can enter information about my dog and on the confirmation screen it defaults to "bluefang" for my dogs name and clears the other settings. The application also has a penchant for defaulting to hi power use which kills the battery in the collar really fast. Also the bark control is a joke. No mater what I set it to, it does nothing to stop my dogs barking. I honestly miss the old 9v collars my dogs had for a cheaper system. They lasted forever and didn't have near the problems that this does.
