the screen will for some reason always brighten up ridiculously high when you turn on the light and you'll have to manually turn it down (still brighter than the lowest setting on my phone, which is my preference) the fact that you have to also manually turn off the light even if you put the phone in sleep mode or close out the app is also a nuisance. My preferred flash light app before this one decided to forcefully play ads so at least this one has that going for it.

The app is perfect as it gives full power of the torch light and also works from the notification panel on lock screen. The issue with the notification panel is if the app closes for a certain amount of time. The notification of the torch light disappears and requires user to open the app again. This issue can be fixed via an update, however this is the perfect app I have seen without ads.

i like that its accessible to turn on or off without needing to unlock the phone. BUT. 1) several times the light was on when i pulled it out from a pocket. 2) it randomly flocks on and off! very frustrating. no apparent pattern sometimes it flicks back kn immediately, sometimes it waits for deep and imaginative cursing to ensue from me kicking something i suddenly cant see. its a brand new phone (S9+), it does it fully charged or almost used or anywhere between. i tried, but it had to go.

It does work as a flashlight, but i really wanted the lockscreen widget and was disappointed that it doesn't work/appear on the lockscreen. My phone is old though (note2), so that might be the prob. Hope us old phone users get the same feature if it works for newer phones.

No ads, weighs less than 1 MB, no weird permissions (just camera, as it should be), free... just a terrific app. UI is nice too, and while I do not use the widget, it's still a nice option to have. Well done!

THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT! It's simply excellent. It's very simple, very easy to use, stays on when the screen times out, and you can choose to have black screen when it comes on so it doesn't blind you when you use it. And NO ADs! El Perfecto!
