Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing trag.me - Speedometer on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

With the trag.me - Speedometer app you will be able to see your driving/sailng speed in either analog or digital mode. The app has three speed units: km/h, mph, and knots. When using the app, you will be able to continuously share your positions with Hermes Traffic Intelligence. The positions will be used in an effort to estimate traffic and travel times in select areas, based on data reported from numerous devices. Your positions are reported together with a unique device identification number (UUID). Tracing your name, phone number, address or other possibly sensitive data from the UUID is not a trivial task, and Hermes Traffic Intelligence has no intention of doing so. Your positions will be stored anonymously with Hermes Traffic Intelligence, and only processed and anonymous data will be shared with third parties. If you wish to use the app without sharing your positions you can do so by deselecting the “Share data” option in the configuration tab.
