Timer function
-----------------------
Schedule operational period(s) for device. Outside specified period, device screen will be locked when switched on. Useful for parental control.

Operational period can be set for each week day allow great flexibility.

Outside specified period, device can be unlock with password.

(BASIC version only support up to 3 schedules)


Rest function
---------------------
Smart Switch can enforce a limit on maximum continuous usage. Once the limit is reached, device is locked until minimum rest duration is reached.

Both maximum usage and minimum rest duration can be customised.

(This function is only available in full version)


Password protect schedules
----------------------------------------------
Schedules can be password protected if required.

(This function is only available in full version)


Instructions
-------------------
On 1st launch, Smart Switch requests permission to "Lock the screen". The app can be used without this permission. However, the app can not lock the screen to prevent usage and would simply perform a reminder function.

Add schedule to specified operational periods (periods the device can be used). Afterwards, lock the screen (e.g. using physical button) and the schedule will be in place. It is recommended to remove this app from "recent app" before locking the screen.

Smart Switch uses existing lock screen settings (using pin, pattern, etc). The app simply lock the screen. Hence, user need to setup the lock screen with the device settings.

Additional functions such as lock schedule and rest function can be found in settings.


Permissions
-------------------
This app uses the Device Administrator permission.

"Lock the screen" permission (under Device Administrator Permission) is required to switch screen off.

(BASIC version also required internet for ads)


Uninstall
--------------
The "Lock the screen" permission in the Admin API needs to be disabled before uninstall.

This can be found under "Settings - General - Security - Phone administrators".

Disable permission for this app ("Smart Switch").

The app can then be uninstalled as normal.
