MaximData is mobile data collection and reporting system, which is used in collecting data from remote sparsely populated areas. It allows the use of Smartphone to collect data in real-time, and also has geo-location capabilities for easy mapping.
At MaximData we use Smartphone as a platform to unlock opportunities of big data in different industries as healthcare, transportation access to web-based patient information, banking and other financial institutions, communication carriers (ISP, Telecomm) education.
We are in a rapid changing technology environment and as your organizational data needs grow and your business accelerates meeting these needs become very challenging.
Paper based data collection tools such as questionnaires have a large degree of error and are subject to data loss. Data processing using this method is reported to be more time consuming and cumbersome which does not guarantee quality of the outcome.
Data collected through these manual methods are not standardized and therefore are difficult to process for analytical and data mining purposes. Mobile data application helps to process statistical data, this enhances data driven decision making and policy-making processes.
Our system has the ability to capture electronic and transmit data via mobile device: e.g. survey interviews, household surveys and activity information. This will help simplify, automate, standardize, and reduce the errors in reporting the data collected in the field. It is designed to work with Smartphone’s with network protocol (GSM).

This is a mobile application that facilitates collecting healthcare or other related data through mobile phones.
Due to the challenges faced by survey data collectors in reporting from remote areas, the application that we will develop
will help to bridge informational gaps experienced by the field workers who are currently using paper based reporting which comes with a lot of disadvantages.
