This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Halonix SecurCAM on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. 1. zoom and focus not working in this updated app. In an earlier version of zoom was working. 2. For changing the password section,always show original password is wrong, even when password is correct. next day review - 1. reduce 1 star as even after entering the correct password, can access the camera, have to delete it and add camera again and again. 2. i fix the position of camera at fixed location by off cruise control, even than camera position changing a bit after power on off.

App is crashing every now and then. This problem has started after updating the app. Previously is was working all fine. I am a used from last 11 month.

The app has a lot of useful features but the major drawback of this app is that it needs a very high speed of data when it tries to connect to the camera. If the data speed is slow, it fails to connect to the camera even after several trials. This turns it to be a very pathetic app and totally spoils usability of the Halonix Secure CAM. SO, I REQUEST THE HALONIX TEAM TO PAY THIER ATTENTION TO THIS FLAW AND PROVIDE A SOLUTION IN THE NEXT UPDATE.

24 Hours Video Cloud recording isn't available to opt. That's not good.

Good cam app with all the major features but TV support is missing. Very difficult to watch always on mobile, it will greatt if you provide Android tv support as well.
