☆Exactly☆ the user interface I wanted! Unfortunately: ●1》The app hasn't been updated since 2012 (for Android 4.2). ●2》clicking the widget forces screen into upside down portrait mode, where it stays till clicked again. ●3》I had to figure out that it being a widget means you don't get an " Auto Rotate Widget" app to click and, instead, understanding the comment "It's a widget. Long press on the home screen -> Add Widget -> Auto Rotate Widget." in "Whats New" is critical to instantiate the widget

If you are in landscape it will rotate it back to portrait. But will not work both ways.
