A nice light and app that generally work well. The main downside is the difficulty operating the light without a phone, and typically I would be without my phone in the places I would like to operate this light! The app does do a good job of operating the light, however. The only problem with the app is that the feature for updating the firmware doesn't appear to work. If these two features were improved, I would likely buy more of these.

It's difficult to connect to the app. When you first turn on the light the button starts blinking and you cannot connect. you have to hold the button down for like 10 seconds until it goes solid then you can connect. but my biggest problem is that I got this light for a camera and you have to connect the app to change brightness of temperature of the light as far as I know. I need to be able to just turn use the use the light without my phone
