This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Pick to Wake - Screen On & Off on PC Windows and Mac.

This was an fantastic app the one I've been looking for a long time but please add an option for disabling proximity sensor it is sometimes soo annoying... does the proximity sensor get's switched on after the screen turns off or does it turn on after the lift gesture to check if it's in the pocket? If it's the second case it's totally fine by me because it doesn't drain much battery and it would be more feasible option! Good job hope this app get's regular updates!!!

The app works well when enabled but after some time it gets disabled on it own and then I should enable it againg.i have to enable the screen on button a couple of times throughout the day,it would have been more convenient if I didnt hv to do that.

Great app its uses our phone sensor, when we pick our phone it automatically raise our screen, My phone power button is not working, this application is best ever.... If your power button is not woking. Keep updating.... Thanks, team s.p.

Awesome! I don't need this to turn my screen off, as l have that function on my launcher. However, I have been looking for an app which can enable me to turn my screen on without continually having to use the power button to do so and, this works perfectly! 5 stars 👍😎 Thanks very much for this wonderful application! The app is okay at what it does, but more sensitivity settings would be nice, as even the lower setting is too sensitive for my liking. The phone turns on by my trying to pocket it.

Works exactly as described. If the device has been unmoving with the screen off, and is then picked up, the screen will wake up. Saves pressing the hardware power button to wake the screen! Installed on Samsung SM T-800 tablet running Lineage OS v14.1 (Android 7.1.2). Problems: Wakes into the App screen instead of the Home screen, if the Pro-feature Widget was used to "sleep" the screen. Icon can't be docked in the Favorites bar.

DESCRIPTION:

The app switches the screen on when you pick your phone and enables you to turn off your screen just by clicking the screen off notification or screen off widget. An essential feature of this app is that it eliminates the use of the power button to normally switch on and off the screen. This can be particularly useful for people having a damaged power button or to the phones in which it can be annoying to reach the power button every time.

** Note:
This app uses device admin permission to turn your screen off. You need to provide this permission when prompted to enable Screen off feature. However, the Screen On feature doesn't require any permissions.

Read the following instructions carefully to learn about the usage of this app:

- Click on the enable button to enable the pick to wake Screen On feature.

- Now as you pick the phone next time, you will see your unlock screen appearing without having the need to click the power button.

- Now click on the App -> Settings and Screen Off option. You will see a Screen off Activation request. Click Activate/OK. Now you will receive an everlasting notification.

- From the next time when you click on this notification, the screen will turn off.

- From here on, you just need to pick your phone to wake up the screen and click the App's notification to turn the screen off.

- Uninstall options: You may not be able to uninstall the app directly due to restrictions (admin) imposed by Android. Thus in order to uninstall the app, go to the App UI->Settings>Uninstall.

- You can adjust the sensitivity of the pick by going to Settings->Modify sensitivity->low/medium/high. If your device is too sensitive despite having low sensitivity, try advanced sensitivity.

NOTE:

For Redmi phones, after downloading the app go to Security->Auto start and then choose
this app to auto start in order to experience the effective working of this application even after clearing RAM.
