This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TECBOT on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. This app is junk. It allows you to schedule automatic cleanings with the Tecbot vacuum, but even after you delete them, it still will clean at the previously scheduled times. I've removed the device, the app, changed my wifi password, etc....and it still will clean automatically at every previously scheduled time So now, I have to have the main power shut off and turn it on manually, otherwise it attempts to vacuum 6 times a day.

Map functionality not working - meaning I can't use zones on the robot killing much of its functionality.
