Introducing OlaGate Property Manager App

At OlaGate, we understand the challenges with managing multiple apartments, buildings, or communities and the struggle of property/building managers. We worked extensively with working property/building managers to understand their pain points when we were building a dedicated app “OGPM“ just for them. We learned that most of their time is utilized in communicating and coordinating things with the community HOA, finding/locating historic information, taking care of resident queries, complaints, managing change request approvals, account & vendor follow-up, etc. It seems many of them are still stuck with emails, thus they are getting lost in the flood of emails. Locating historic information is extra challenging and time-consuming for them. When it comes to managing multiple communities, these challenges are multifold, impacting their performance and hence impacting the bottom line of the property management companies.

We have built a dedicated App that is fully integrated with OlaGate, for property/building managers which gives them access to all community information at their fingertips. It is designed to help them connect, communicate and manage multiple communities on the GO. It is also fully integrated with cloud-based helpdesk “OGDesk”, which comes with a built-in hassle-free board approval poll. It is also equipped with vendor & work order management. It comes with a multi-community task manager powered by a personalized calendar to help them manage & coordinate tasks, events, and meetings of multiple apartments & communities along with personal meetings and reminders. The one-touch board approval feature to request board approval with automated time-bound poll & one-touch access to all historic board approval seems like a lifesaver for property/building managers. With access to community feed on dedicated channel help property/building manager to communicate entire community without breaching the privacy of community feed.

OGPM is complete on the GO office tool for property/building managers which helps them optimize their work schedule & stay connected with the residents, homeowners, and HOA/RWA members of multiple communities without getting stuck at the office or opening their laptops.

App Permissions

Allows applications to open network sockets.
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows an app to create windows using the type TYPE_APPLICATION_OVERLAY, shown on top of all other apps.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Marker permission for applications that wish to access notification policy.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
