App is fine I guess. But my recent Google Fiber "upgrade" wrestles yet more power away from me and makes things more convenient for Google. Before, I could conveniently manage my router from any web browser on any device I found handy. Now, I can ONLY manage advanced settings through an app. Only from my phone. I hope this somehow makes things more convenient for Google because it makes me feel less like an empowered user and more like a product.

Pros: very easy to do basic stuff like billing, monitoring and device configuration. I can log in from anywhere and see all the devices connected via WiFi. Cons: trouble ticket functionality severely degraded. App purports to submit trouble tickets via email but actually fails to do so, offers no way to check status, and doesn't include the chat option available via browser. If you have a problem, just call in. Would also like to see a port status display.

Incredibly spotty and unreliable! The speeds on speed tests are incredible 600 Mbps downloads and over 100 Mbps uploads. But try playing a game of FIFA 23 on the PS5 and it will disconnect you before the games are over, or it will just be laggy to the point where it's almost impossible to play. Other streaming devices and services are also spotty. I called to the service desk and all they could tell me is that I need to have my consoles and pretty much all my tvs updated. That's a joke!!!

Did Google drop support for this app because it doesn't seem to function at all. I constantly have to sign in whenever I do anything, and half the time, I can't verify I'd done so because the confirmation methods never go through. When I finally do get in, I can't restart the Fiber box or modify my network settings because the app just sits there working harder at looking like it's working than actually doing anything at all.

Using it for yrs and still works as intended, even after today's update. I've never had any issues logging in like others report. I live in KC metro. I'm surprised the app only has 2.0 rating. I feel for anyone having issues though. Sadly, canceled my Google TV thinking Spectrum was better/cheaper. Well, it was cheaper but not better or even equal. Hello YouTube TV! Google still has me ;-) Good luck all!

I've been unable to sign in the last couple months. True clearing storage and cache and even uninstalling and reinstalling the app. That being said, even when it works it was mediocre. You're unable to use the app if your internet is bad so to restart the router you have to physically unplug it which defeats half the point of having an app.
