Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing DeepSearch on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

DeepSearch is a Spotlight inspired search tool for your phone.

Easily access features on your phone without having to open irritating sub-menus, or look through endless pages of apps.

Features:

- Search for apps, settings and contacts on your phone.

- When searching for contacts, quickly tap a button to make a call or send a message.

- When searching for key settings, such as bluetooth or wifi, you can set them to on/off from within the app or click to open up the appropriate settings.

- Fully customize what should be searched within the settings.

- Dark mode available.


Searching for contacts might require a permission and must be enabled in Settings->Search->Contacts

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
ACCESS_WIFI_STATE
CHANGE_WIFI_STATE
These permissions are used to toggle wifi from within app.

BLUETOOTH
BLUETOOTH_ADMIN
These are required to toggle bluetooth.

READ_CONTACTS
Required for contact search.

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Reading and writing data to a database for quicker search results.

INTERNET
This is used for billing and to display ads.

SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW
Used for the swipe in from side to open app feature.
