So far so good, doing a osp job , needed a quick reference, the right bottom 🌟 star I thought was a like or rate button is actually a really useful button you can change how many fibers in a tube / not sure in a ribbon ? But super useful when working with different type of manufacturers who don't always follow the 12 fiber in a loose tube format . Thank you good , quick , easy app , I will advise to go to his blog link in the app description , that how I found out about the star button .

This is a great tool for technicians! I've managed to use it a few times at work and it's saved me a lot of time. Although I have to say, the "Input cable count" screen is a bit vague. In the end, I feel like I don't really know what I'm doing, almost as if it's too simple; I've managed to plug-n-play my way to success..

About this app

Fiber optic color code is a searchable expanding chart that translates the color code of Loose Tube and Ribbon fiber optic cables including Ribbon in Loose Tube cable types. Look up cable count, reverse cable count, custom start fiber, straight sheath count or search by inverse color code with an expanding chart of fibers from a single screen.

This app shall be used only as a handy secondary reference tool as we know there are mistakes made in the field and incorrect records that always need to be taken into account. Use of a tone source as a primary identifier will always be more accurate.

New features

Updated SDK for latest devices.

Added X=Y: Example fiber 36=55 (x=y) This will give your starting 1=20
Think of it as "Physical fiber 36's id equals 55"

Added Custom Start Fiber header range update as requested. When user creates a custom start fiber, there's now an option to update fiber ranges on the Ribbon/Tube headers (XX-XX). To enable this option go to Menu>App Settings> And switch on "Update Ranges(XX-XX)"

Also added Reverse lookup for custom start fibers.

Minor behavior adjustments.
