This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Tracks the route on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

This application updates mobile location to any OpenGTS server using gprmc protocol string via web url.

This application uses phone's GPS feature to obtain location and GPRS feature to update location to any OpenGTS server. Note that GPRS / Data connection may cost you as per your service provider plans.

You can get account id and device id by emailing support@ghewareunigps.com

You can see your phone's location on http://ghewareunigps.com You will be given password to access your personal location data when you request for account and device id.

When you buy this application, you will get one month free location tracking through the portal. Send your purchase order number to support@ghewareunigps.com to avail this.

Application runs in the background when minimized using Home /back button. Battery consumed by this application is minimal.

Version 6 updates the server with location info whenever internet is available by first saving it in the app database so that no location info is lost.
