This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Pushline:Desktop Notifications on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

This is AWESOME! So, this app ticks all the right boxes: Is FREE and has NO ADS. I'm not 100% sure how the sync works though. would love if it worked only on the local network, without the server.

I was excited to try this. Love the concept of a local, non-cloud desktop sms app. BUT it wouldn't sync my phone contacts to my computer at all making it useless for that purpose. App doesn't appear to function as intended. Verizon Samsung Note 5, Chrome, elementaryOS.

Works great! I know people are comparing it to PB which isn't fair since this is free, but personally I find this to work seamlessly with my Pixel. Looking forward to future updates.
