They've fixed the inability to copy answers and headings overlapping the text, but it's still cutting off every paragraph of the answers, so you can't see the last few words. In addition, the popup copy option appears every time you try to scroll. Consequently, I've increased my rating from 1 star to 3 but no more than that.

Was useful when you could highlight what you needed to highlight. Really liked being able to save and file things away. With the new liner it's all gone. The whole reason I was using liner is gone. Don't care for the new ai business. Now I have to figure out how to get my files out of this. Don't recommend this app anymore. It's not the original version.

Liner provides a good way to capture highlights as you read, but no good way to use the highlights. It should be easy to export your highlights for use with writing or a notes app. To do this in Liner, you have to hit a button over and over for every single highlight individually. It's an annoying waste of time. There’s no API or even a “download all” button. Without this, Liner is not for me.

While I do believe the app can be improved in some ways, I do not believe it to be as complicated to use as many of the reviews state. It definitely does work, and you are able to review the list of all highlights and can easily export them as a word document which saves so much time for note taking. It would be nice if the liner tool was an add-on to Firefox or chrome browsers because who wants to use a separate browser every time just to highlight stuff? All in all it does work and save time!

I've given this app plenty of years and opportunity to grow and work out the kinks, but I'm done waiting. I was patient when my highlights were in the wrong places when I would go back to look over them at a later date. I was patient when my highlights wanted to move all over the page as I was highlighting. And now after the most recent update when I attempt to highlight, the highlighting button stays hidden behind the options to "cut/copy/select all". Time to move on to better things.

New app version is confusing. Hitting back button always closes the app which is frustrating. They're trying to make some kind of browser and it's wayy too complicated. There's not one but three rows of menu bars in addition to whatever you're trying to read. Now there's no way to browse highlights because when you look at one highlight it resets you to the top of your highlights list, so you can't browse highlights anymore, which was the entire point of this app. I just want a highlighter app!
