About this app

The AgriNotebook is a multi-lingual map-based mobile app that gives farmers and field workers the necessary facilities to collect structured, in-situ data and record agricultural managerial practices regarding their fields. Examples include sowing information, irrigation practices, soil type and conditions, fertilizers and agrochemicals, insect and weed presence and yield. The AgriNotebook also allows them to record free observations (e.g., exceptional situations in the field, vandalism), illustrate them with a picture and share them with their fellow farmers. All recorded data is stored on our servers, and accessible through an API (provided proper credentials). The AgriNotebook features full offline availability: all maps are offline available, and data collection can be performed offline, then synchronised once connection is available.
The AgriNotebook is currently available for the rice regions of Lombardy (Italy), Valencia (Spain) and Thessaloniki (Greece).
The AgriNotebook is currently available in 4 languages: English, Spanish, Italian and Greek.
The AgriNotebook was developed in the context of the ERMES project (grant agreement n° 606983), funded by the European Union Seventh Framework Programme (FP7-SPACE/2007-2013).
