This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Gear File Manager Companion on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.

Still really waiting on my refund does not play video like you say no matter what I do no matter what file I put in there it will not connect to my watch left a rating on Samsung Galaxy apps still no refund why not

The app works just fine. Obviously people do not know how to follow directions. Download the app to your gear s3 from gear app store > Download this app to your phone > Open app on watch and go to the downloads folder > Tap the three little dots on the right hands side of the screen and scroll to/tap on the "recieve files from phone" option > Then open this app on your phone > Using a file manager on your phone (I prefer File Manager +) find the content you want to transfer to the watch > Copy/Paste the file into the "GearFileManagerSender" app > Go back to this app and tap the reload button > The file you put into the "GearFileManagerSender" app will show up > Tap on the file you want to transfer and it will begin uploading it to your watch.

If you guys don't read the instructions it's not going to work. Plus there is two companion apps for it. That's the confusing but it works. It takes some work. You guys are just lazy

So I tried to contact the developer and he easily gets offended. He is condensing and thinks people aren't technologically inclined. I just asked for a refund and now he won't respond. He accuses you of cheating him out of $2 dollars for the app. LOL. I got video and screenshots of our conversation. I also deleted the app. I followed all directions and the developer assumes everyone is dumb and can't follow instructions. Pretty sure his is going to reply with some excuse of how it's my fault. Save your money and time. It won't send files to gear. And some folders are still hidden. If you're trying to transfer sounds or sideload apps ...forget about this app. It's not what you want. NOTE 8 7.1.1 Gear S3 tizen 3.0

About this app

This is an application help you send any file to Gear S2, S3.
Please follow the guide below to transfer file from phone to gear:
1. Allow all permisson for this app.
2. Connect phone and gear via bluetooth.
3. Open File Manager app on gear.
4. Go to download folder
5. Press to three dot on the right hand
6. Select option "Receive file from phone" ( press to the text at the center screen )
7. This app will go to File Transfer screen.
8. Unlock your phone, gear file manager companion app will be auto launched.
9. Copy the file you wanna send to gear to "GearFileManagerSender" folder.
10. Press to "Reload" button to reload list file
11 Press to "connect to gear" button untill the screen show text: CONNECTION_ALREADY_EXIST.
(Some time you need reboot your gear or uninstall and install again)
12. Select file you wanna send to gear.
