I just had to come here and write a really nice review for this app. I have been using QuickPic for 3-4 years now, and it was supposed to be the best gallery out there, but lately it became sluggish, pictures need 2-3 seconds to fully render (with the stock gallery it was almost instant, but I didnt like that interface so I stayed with QuickPic), and it also has problems with pink titles now, so I was searching for a good app that would be my go to gallery for good, and I believe I just found one. Simple Gallery has it all. Beautiful interface. Colors. Many options that you can enable or disable to your liking. You can set how many rows you want to see on your screen, you may set the grid or list view... Pictures render instantly. (there is a half a second delay from the moment you open it until you can zoom, but Im sure it will be improved.) Dear developer, I would suggest increasing the sensitivity when zooming with one finger just so it zooms faster. Selection works just beautifully. You can hold to select a picture and then just drag down or up and it will select super fast! I love this option. Picture editor is snappy! And there are many filter options. (I would suggest adding

Excellent Application. I have been using it for the last 10 months and I must admit I am really happy with the application. I am also using the Music Player from this Developer. As mentioned in the description there are absolutely no ads, no extra permissions needed. Its very simple, user friendly and with quite a lot of options. Ive tried like 10 other gallery apps on the store and they all have at least one dumb thing that kills it for me. This one here has been a boon to the thousands of pictures I hoard. The custom thumbnails for each folder are a nice touch, you can pin any album to keep it up top which is slick and the most important thing is it works as it should. No bull****, the only thing Id say it could use is some sort of customizable UI just for extra flavor. Traffic cone orange is not a good look. Lmao

Great little Gallery App. I used to use QuickPic, however its become quite a mess, in my opinion. Simple Gallery is like the name implies, simple. Its clutter free, customizable, intuitive, and quick. Exactly what most people need. I paid for the Pro Version, as I quite like the Simple Series of apps, even if I dont use many. Keep up the lovely work.

Best image viewer, bar none. Swiping left/right, and zooming in/out, are flawless. I never had any issues interacting with the app via swipe/pinch gestures. The automatic brightness control is also a great feature. The behavior of the app overall is very intuitive. This thing was written by someone who actually understands user interfaces. Im using it with the Simple File Manager app as an image browser / viewer combo.

It works and is sufficient enough. Im fond of its many features such as being able to password protect the app, pin folders to the top, increase or decrease columns, hide particular photos or an entire folder, etc. My only gripe was that from time to time — like once a month, Id be asked to rate the app. Well, here you go. ☆
