About this app

This application will automatically mute your mobile phone based on your calendar meetings (sophisticated do not disturb), exempting selected important callers. Better than other apps where you need to define your weekly schedule for silence (sometime referred to as do not disturb). This application will automatically get your weekly schedule from your calendar and will automatically switch to silent mode when appropriate.
Enjoy silent time when you need it and avoid embaressment due to a ring in the wrong time. Do not miss critical calls just because you put your phone on silent mode for a meeting or because you forgot to switch it back to ringing mode.

In addition, this auto silence application has many flexible options to control which meeting is considered, and to avoid unnecessary muting. Those options, among others are:

- Callers white list - list of contact numbers who will not be blocked even if the mobile phone is on silence mode, so you will not lose the calls from the important contacts
- You can define that only the calendar meetings times which are marked as busy, will be automatically muted
- Decide how to treat calendar meetings which are marked as 'all day' - will those times be also automatically mute your mobile phone
- Define the application working period e.g. 9 - 5 only

In addition many other options like how much time before and after the meeting should be muted and more.

Please note that the callers white list was tested on variety of manufacturers and models mobile phones. There are some models that even though the phone is unmuted when the incoming call is identified, and the ring volume set to maximum the hardware does not support start ringing after the call have been started thus it will not ring. Obviously every such application is limited to the hardware limitations. In any case the rest, muting the phone in meetings etc. worked fine in all models.

Minimal permissions are used for the application:
- read you calendar
- read you contact for the white list selection
- your calls to decide if and which to exempt from blocking
