The Freedom Device Care app now provides the ability for you to submit your device for repair and view device repair updates.
The Freedom Device Care app allows you to easily scan your device to diagnose device issues, find solutions, submit device repairs, and view device repair updates. Freedom Device Care provides a personalized experience, smart recommendations for your device, step-by-step instructions to optimize your device for a better overall experience, and options to submit and view status updates of device repairs. Get insight int your device's performance through an easy-to-navigate series of guided tests. Once completed, the app will present you with a list of personalized recommendations to help you get the most out of your device. If further assistance is required, you can call Customer Care through the App and share your unique connection code within Freedom Device Care. You will receive remote assistance to help resolve device issues. No personal information is shared, and the agent will not be able to see your device's screen, photos, messages, or other activities.
The Freedom Device Care application (the “App”) may access, collect, use and share with third party suppliers:
* Certain of your personal information, including your name, email address, address, and phone number, only if you voluntarily submit a Device repair request within the App, to send you a kit including a shipping label and box allowing you to ship your Device via courier to a Freedom Mobile authorized repair center, provide customer support and generate Device repair updates;
* Certain technical data about your Device and other IDs, including your Device’s IMEI number (i.e., a unique 15-digit code that identifies the Device), the version of the App used, and your mobile service provider, to diagnose Device issues, find solutions and provide smart recommendations; and
* Certain data pertaining to installed applications such as the name, the storage size, the last used date as well as interactions of installed applications, and certain additional Personal Information or technical information on your Device which includes interactions with the App, contacts and accounts information, geo location, photos’ and files’ properties, as well as sensors, microphones or speakers technical data, when the App diagnostic tool and other functionalities of the App are used, to diagnose Device issues, find solutions and provide smart recommendations,
