This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Fred TM Time and Motion on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Seemed to work fine on my old phone, but now I have upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy 8. I can't export CSVs any more, and without that this app is useless. I tried to contact them for support three days ago, but have yet to receive a response. This app and the company who made it are useless. UPDATE: They have contacted me, and are working on the problem. I look forward to the next software update, where they say they should have this fixed.

About this app

Fred TM - Time and Motion is an app that makes easy to collect data for Time and Motion study.

Without Fred TM, the study is made with spreadsheet, pens, chronometers, photo cameras and other devices. With Fred TM, all these features can be used directly in the app, making the work of the time analyst easier.

Attention: The Fred TM app doesn't require internet connection to work.

With the Fred TM, to organize your work, you can:
- Create your operations to apply the Time and Motion Study;
- Create partial Activities inside each Operation;
- Classify each Activity as Productive, Auxiliary or Unproductive;
- Quantify a Productive Acitivity (ex.: Cutted Trees, Produced Cars);
- Order Activities by title, type or manual ordering;
- Edit data of Operations and Activities already registered;

And for the execution of the data Collect, it's possible:
- Make several collects in the same Operation;
- The app has a simple interface, dinamic experience and gives flexibility to Collect the data;
- Individually Collect multiple times on the same Activitiy;
- Individually Collect the latitude and longitude of a Activity timing;
- Take several pictures during the timing of each Acitivity;
- Edit Activities during the data Collect;
- Add new Activities during the data Collect;
- After the data Collect, it is possible to get a summary of the results and export all the data to CSV format.

The app is in constant update, in search of improvements and corrections. Suplementary software are being developed.
