This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing 2015 USPS Carrier ColorCal+ on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

If you have a color-coded Sunday / Rotating days off, this calendar is for you!

ColorCal PLUS displays rotating days off AND allows saving of notes.

This is a early version of the ColorCal PLUS App. It only covers the period of June 2015 through January 2016 and displays the "all colors" calendar. It shows paydays, start of Pay Periods, observed holidays and other notable days.

The App only runs on Android 4.1 and up

NOTE: The color scheme depicted matches the predominantly available printed calendars, however some offices use a variation. If this is the case in your office, make a mental note to adjust for your particular color scheme.

By design there is no online calendar integration or, for that matter, any online requirement. Your notes are saved on your device, so as to limit exposure of your data.


Privacy-
I respect your privacy. I do not collect ANY personal info or data OR location data. There are NO nag screens, ADs, SPAM, push notifications, pop-ups or in-app purchases. Your notes are saved on your device and no where else.

WARNING: ONLY get apps from the Google PLAY store. Other sources may provide unsafe and/or altered (hacked) apps. For your safety, I only distribute through the Google PLAY store.

Permissions for the app are:
*"write to memory" so your notes will be saved
*"access network state" required by the software package, I am not sure why. The app works without connectivity

If you want a calendar with fewer required permissions get ColorCal 2015. It does not write to storage or save notes.

NO complicated or intrusive settings. I did not include any online calendar integration. It is a simple app that displays your day off, holidays and paydays, and includes note taking.

ColorCal PLUS is intended to complement, not replace, the printed calendar that we have purchased for many years.

The calendar is believed to be correct. By using it you agree to hold me harmless in the event of errors or omissions


A NOTE ABOUT APP ECONOMICS

Over 30% goes to fees and expenses which are beyond my control. It requires about 150 downloads for me break-even and cover related things like the (Google required) web site and software fees.
