it's so dumb that there aren't any file managers out there with this basic feature. Thank you. P.S. I'm using this on android 9.0 and it works just fine.

People who says they only see "Access Denied" usualy don't know what is root. So to make the app run properly you either go to "sdcard" or "storage" folder.

Hmm. Works fine on my Galaxy phone but doesn't seem to like a Huawei MediaPad M5: "Access denied".

I wish this app worked (hard to find an app that lists folder sizes). But, "access denied" when starting, try to do anything and it shuts down. Does this app require root???
