Excellent app! I have been using it for years and with several different launchers without issue. I have recommended it to others many times over and will continue to do so in the future. The one minor issue I've had recently with the app closing itself at random seems to have been resolved. It was either a setting at my end or a conflict with android software. Thank you for the fix developers! Keep up the good work!

So sad. This looked great!

My original review from 2013 is below. I just downloaded the app for the Note 8 and I am no less in love with this little gem of an app! How this app has escaped major review is beyond me. I love the ability to take a quick note or keep a running task list without having to fully open another program. While S-Note's memo function is great for longer term storage, Snap Pad is perfect for those sudden "drive by" additions to your schedule and those "ah-hah" ideas that quickly fade while you search for scraps of paper. It allows the Galaxy Note and Note 10.1 to demonstrate what separates them from the pack, providing the convenience of pen and paper with the stress reduction of outsourcing my memory to better equipped tools. This is not a list maker or word editor program. It does not offer pre made check boxes or indentation for hierarchical lists. Any major "GTD" type enhancements would likely detract from its simplicity. Just think of it as the most convenient sticky note EVER and roll with it!

Only reason it has 4 stars is because I had notes and they actually disappeared one morning. What's the reason for this? I am biased. I love this app but after it deleted all my notes I was pretty upset, as it was a few reminders too.

According to Avast Battery Saver, Snap Pad tops the list of the worst apps that drain battery. It currently accounts for 21 percent of total battery consumption on my tablet. This is bloody HUGE !

Loved this app on my Note 4 for years then it had problEMS prolly from an
update. Upgraded to Note 8 and still love it but some problems now: several
times the close tab went away and had to reset phone since it went as a
normal window. Also, the no-touch icon doesn't work right. It either allows
everything or nothing. Although I have no design wishes a few comments here
sound like good enhancement with ruining its simplicity: sometimes need
more room, maybe scrolling down or sliding to addition pages. Typing mode,
sometimes no time to get out that pen! It could just be one or the other,
no mixing. Also today got an s-note popup when I pulled the pen that had a
write on screen function, close to the behavior of snap-pad. I don't plan
to use it but really liked the scribble noise it made , so realistic I
thought it was real at first. It has a huge impact psychologically on the
pencil on paper realism, a lot more than you would think. Must have shown
up with Oreo.
