This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Snap Desk - Memo and Beyond on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. SnapDesk is a "keeper"! While writing on transparent notepad, you see underlying screen! Write notes, copy info (looking at source!) from images, apps, websites... SnapDesk auto saves, and your notes are there when you want 'em... until you select/delete! I quickly decided to autostart (rare for me) so SnapDesk is ready-to-go whenever I need it! (Seeing can beat memory!) Replacement tablet (Tab S4 - Android 9) may eliminate SnapDesk convenience. She no work!

I was afraid that this app would use high memory, because the free version is atrocious in this respect. However, I found out that this (paid) version is very good. In short, I am extremely satisfied with it.

Very good at what it does, using it quit a bit. Wish you could be able to share the notes and sync. In the meantime, I take a screen shot of the full size note, to save it. Cheers, Rocky Hatt (. Y .)

A very useful and good app

Great concept, UI needs to be more polished. One major flaw is the inability to handle screen rotation. After rotating the screen a couple of times almost half of one note was lost, rendering it useless. I did email the developer and he blamed Samsung? Another suggestion would be to add a share button so for instance I could send a note to Keep if I wanted to save it more long term.

Snap Desk is a memo management app which can be opened by simple touch.


1. Features

- You can open it while using other apps.
Even when you are playing games or browsing the web, just drag near the snap region and it will come out.

- You don't need to name the memo or make folders to manage them.
Move and set memo types to categorize and manage them like your actual desk.


2. Tips

- Each memo can have different background colors according to Heart(♥), Diamond(♦), Club(♣), Spade(♠) types. You can set memo types by its priority or category.

- You can even rotate memo by two fingers on arrange mode.

- Pen and eraser mode changes in turn when you press S-pen button on hovering.

- Desk will be collapsed when you double tap the black size control bar.

- Sometimes Snap Desk may be terminated suddenly by Android OS if there's very little memory left.


3. Etc

- The difference between full version and free version is only the ads.
If you don't like ads or you would like to donate, please buy the full version.

- Evernote, box, Dropbox, SkyDrive, Google Drive cloud sync will be implemented soon.

- FlyingBus Studio's another app Snap Pad is available.
Snap Pad and Snap Desk are similar but main targets are different.
If you want to write memo quickly for idea sketch or doodling, use Snap Pad. Or if you want to write several memo and manage them, use Snap Desk.
Both are from same developer, and both will be updated continually.
