I haven't tried this in the field yet, but I researched these Crown Moulding apps for over an hour and this seems to be the best layout, and the only one I came across with visual representations. I have to run a four piece molding around a room complete with rakes. This should be much faster than setting crown stops (or making them) and doing the flip trick. I shall keep you posted.

I really, really like this app. Graphics clearly show which orientation your blade will be turned and beveled to, and adjusts for compound vs dual compound saws. Warns if you are over your saw's preset max miter limit. Does, though, ask for a couple permissions it may not seem to need (phone ID, network state...although it can be set to auto update, and addl help pages are also online. This MAY explain this). Everything is color coded, incl which piece you will keep or trash. Also shows you the settings for both right and left pieces of your corner. (NOTE: for single compound saws, read the instructions regarding the reverse orientation of some boards (indicatd in orange. Very important). Note also that calculator assumes boards are laid flat. Number's are slight bit hard to read on brown background (pls enlarge or lighten background). Nicer still, IMHO, than Box Crusher version. Try for 15 min, & get refund if you don't like it. I did & no regrets! (*** sorry for double post. I was trying to edit my review only ***)
