Its Ok, I agree that the thought was to GET the correct pressure to pump at, but i see now the app is simply calculating what the friction loss WOULD be. The way it asks for hose length is weird, "number of hoses" then "hose section length" a few boxes later, took me a sec, just described weird. I knowni have 200' cross lays or 1000' of ldh, why can't I just fill in total length?

Can't set options (other than language). You have to know (and input) starting PSI (why, and how would we know this? Isn't that the purpose of this app?) hose length (limited to 100'), GPM desired, elevation, number of hoses, inner hose diameter.... By the time you input all of that, you could have worked out FL=CQ2xL the old way & gone to two more fire scenes. Never really gives you friction loss. If it does, I'm missing it somewhere in the cryptography of this bad app. This app needs a LOT of work. : (
