About this app

Fastrack Racing was founded in 1990 by Marshall Brewer, providing rides and drives in custom built race cars around the legendary Calder Park Road Circuit and Thunderdome in Melbourne. In 2012, Fastrack was transformed by new owners, George Elliot and David Maidment, investing in new experiences, forming alliances with V8 Supercar teams to build more high-spec race cars to stage experiences in the best interstate venues.

V8 Race also had its origins in 1990 when Rod Dawson pioneered track driving experiences for his sponsors and their customers at Lakeside and Queensland Raceway, and the Thunderdome in Melbourne and Adelaide International. In 2004, Rod teamed up with his former sponsor, Greg Evans, and the V8 Race Experience expanded nationally and reached the pinnacle by staging the first drive experiences at Bathurst in 2010.

After many years of being direct competitors, the four owners and two teams joined forces. Experience Central was created to bring together the best of Fastrack and V8 Race and invest in improving the client experience and also develop new exciting driving experiences.
