About this app

A fast, energy efficient, dynamic audio recorder which ‘intelligently’ adjust to the user requirements. The audio recording ‘STARTS’ and ‘STOPS’ sensing the mobile Tilt (Flip). No need to start the app all the time since the app runs in the background. Very useful for i) continuous usage ii) intermittent usage iii) longer usage. Excellent for MEETINGS and CLASS LECTURES and NEWS Reporting.

The available Audio application can be used in a static mode. This means that as a user you will go through following steps in starting an audio recording:
1. A user enter the mobile by entering PIN or Signature
2. Finds the Audio Recording related application
3. Starts the application
4. Wait until the application loads
5. Start Recording.

Additional ISSUE: If the user hand “inadvertently’ touch the back or home button, the application closes, causing a great deal of anxiety, especially if it happens again and again. Most of the application stops recording after some time even if switched off.

If the user does not need the recorder:
1. The user can pause the recorder (a facility not available in lower end Android version), the screen timeout can create further anxiety especially during the meeting or in the classroom.
2. Press the home button or closes the phone screen via phone side buttons.

GAPS: Why the standard audio recording application is not an optimum solution:
1. Dynamic behavior: The audio recorder adapt to the user requirements. A simple flip or tilt of the mobile will start the audio recording and opposite flip or tilt will stop the recording.

2. FAST Process: In Official Meeting or Classrooms or News Reporting require continues recording, intermittent recording (start and stop at user will without explicitly starting or stopping the app), quick recording (no waste of time and space as well as energy).

3. Little Energy/Battery Consumption: Flipping or Tilting the phone starts and stops the audio recording allowing major battery savings.

4. Space Saving: Flipping or Tilting the phone starts and stops the audio recording allowing major disk space savings.

1. Allow audio recording ‘START and ‘STOP dynamically based on flip or tilt of the phone.
2. Allow the user to utilize the front flash or back flash
3. The phone tilt (flip) is adjustable and user controlled.

6. No hidden information or data requests
Look For:
• Please allow the app to acclimatize your phone environment. In addition, you are also encouraged to use the app few time to get accustomed to the app.
• Please close some apps to free memory in order for the Flip N Record to works for longer hours.
• The recorded audios are stored in /AudioRecordings/
• The app will use the external storage, and in absence of external storage, it will use the internal storage.
