First of all if you have no issues during call do not touch it like I did. It created the issue which wasn't there before. Then to set it up properly I suggest not to cover the sensor with your finger like the app suggest but instead to put you phone on your ear like a normal phone call (you might need to leave a bit of a gap between your phone and your ear in order to be able to click the next button). It will then work flawlessly.

Have had a black screen appear blocking control of the phone which this app solved instantly!

All my issues with black screens during calls are gone. New version has much improved UI and discoverability.

Thank you! The screen before this update was becoming black when answering a call or listening to a WhatsApp voice note, now it becomes black ONLY when you put the phone near the ear.
