I really like this app, but the information is just too small for me to read. Also, I have been tracking earthquakes for 48 years and all the apps I've wanted to use the font is always to small for me to use because the type is too small for me to use, or the words are being typed like a shadow.

Lifesaver . People please be patient. This app is in Beta so i am sure problems will be ironed out. For me it works great and customer service responded within minutes. Where do you find that? Just a quake 3.5 in yorba Linda few miles away no warning ..........

Have not been able to add experiences. We've had three earthquakes this morning and while they are on the map, I would like to add data to them. I get server errors often.

Doesn't seem to know where I am ever, and I never get alerts. Looking at past earthquakes it has me either being in LA or Tahoe, neither of which I've been to in years.

About this app

The QuakeAlert app will alert you that an earthquake has occurred and will send a push alert to your mobile device. This alert includes information about the expected shaking intensity at your location and the time until the expected shaking, along with a message instructing you to drop, cover, and hold on.

Warning times can range from 10 to 60+ seconds depending on the location, depth, and magnitude of the earthquake’s epicenter.

The QuakeAlert app uses data provided by the USGS and ShakeAlert. This App is an official pilot created in partnership with the U.S. Geological Survey and should be considered a “beta” product with no implied guarantees.
