I think it is almost best. It can be used for many purposes. That's why maybe you should think to add password protection and tag statistics..

I have a use case which I hope you could make easier. I segmented, at the top level, all of my notes into different subjects, with no overlap, to avoid tagging thousands of notes with the same tag to do the separation. So I have several backup directories, and I switch between them (backup, switch folder, restore latest backup), to purposefully avoid sharing tags between them. Could you automate this in some way, so that I can select (eg via settings) which subject I want to use?

Awesome notes app. I had been using Google Notes for logging any ideas I get for a book that I mean to write, but the collection is so large now and there was no way to organize it. Unotes is fantastic for the many tags needed for differentiating between plot development and world building, or both if you want to see notes with both tags! Thanks Dev!!!

I love this app! I like how it's very friendly for my ideas to be collected in an organized manner. I wish it had a bidirectional linking btwn notes so I can link note a within note b and when I press it, it takes me to note a. Thank you developer/s! ♡♡♡

At long last, someone who gets tags and makes a good UI for them too. Great app. Edit: Dev responded quickly and positively to my request by implementing json export. Great app, great response by him. Very pleased. This has become my only note taking app.

This is the nest note taking app and it still has a lot of potential. 🙂HEY DEVELOPERS: Can this app filter tags? Can this app filter notes according to size? See, I keep intermintant long notes that take up the whole feed forever when they go by. Another thing, I can't find explanations on how to do everything. Seems like you guys could outsource the writing of concise but comprehensive help dicumentaion. IDK...

About this app

Unotes is a note taking application with focus on tags, speed and structure.

TAGS AND TIPS
Tag unstructured notes: relevant suggestions will simplify the search and adding.
Review your ideas that are close in meaning together: the search suggestions will find the necessary context for you.

SPEED
Record urgent thoughts and go back to your activities: you can add tags later.
Make notes on the go: the notification widget will allow you to add insights, even without entering the application.

STRUCTURE
Use filtering to find and display what you need at the moment: the tags will set the context, and done tasks can be hidden. This is more convenient than going through nested folders.
Add ideas and actions directly to the needed context: filter tags will appear in the note automatically.

CALENDAR
Visualize the dynamics of note taking: the calendar will show the frequency of use of tags.
Find the context of the recorded observations: transition to a specific day from the calendar will help to do it faster.

New features

- Search: improved: query `foo bar` searches items with `foo` and `bar` — to search `foo bar` use `"foo bar"`
- "Edit Note": supported inline checkboxes (`- [ ]`)
- "Edit Note": saving last cursor position in note
- "Notes": edit tag via long-click; copy `monospace` text from note via click; other improvements
- "Tags": added ordering by name and touch-date
- "Calendar": supported vertical mode
