The Camera bell itself is good solid, well made and easy and secure to install. It has lots of futures one is the ability to open your door from a distance if you install electric latch. However every good hardware needs a good software to work. And I realized after around of six months of usage that i bought nice looking rubbish. When i try to connect to the bell it constantly gave me network busy message and refuse to connect to the camera.

the one important thing the instructions fail to tell you is that the app continually goes offline. The solution - you have to manually change the battery optimising in your phones settings to make sure your phone doesn't put this app to sleep. To make an obvious statement - if the app goes offline you won't get any notifications - this seems to be the major gripe over this app.

The software upgrade in late March to 3.91.00.24 does seem to have improved the reliability of doorbell presses reaching my phone. ESP took a while to take my and the complaints here seriously, but pleased they did as this needed attention. If you still have issues, keep up the pressure so that we all benefit from fixes.

Pure rubbish. Camera bell looks like it's the real deal and is them left down by this rubbish application. Have missed most callers to my home using this. Will now have to replace it as it's totally unreliable!

Since I installed the last update in November, I have the app keeps switching off. The previous version would have displayed an icon in the notifications tray but that is no longer the case. Really annoying and I've missed many callers as the app had switched off.
