About this app

Self-Sovereign Identity technology enables you to manage your online identity without a need for dozens of passwords or a third party you need to trust. Just like a physical wallet in which you carry your ID cards, you can use the esatus Wallet App to gather credentials from public issuers like companies or agencies.
Then, services can ask you to reveal parts of your credentials - which are called claims - to let you sign on to these services, just like a gatekeeper might ask you to show them your ID before granting access, or to check if you are qualified for a specific activity.

The app will use at least one individual connection with a unique decentralized identifier (DID) while communicating with each different agent in a network so that your online activity cannot be tracked.
After revealing claims your counterpart can verify the identity of the issuer of the credential, the validity of the credential (i.e. that it is has not been revoked by the issuer) and that the content is trustworthy.

This is done using cryptographic methods in combination with a decentralized network using Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), often referred to as blockchain technology.
With SSI technology, your privacy is a top priority. No personal data is ever written to the ledger.
Each claim remains in your wallet unless you reveal a subset of them to a specific verifier.
The DLT network is only used to distribute public issuers (no humans), the namespaces for credentials or claims and revocation registries that can be used to prove non-revocation.

This app is multi-ledger ready and comes with a set of predefined networks:
Sovrin MainNet
Sovrin StagingNet
Sovrin BuilderNet
BCGov Test Ledger
esatus Test Ledger

Functions:
- Multi Language
- Auto Acceptance (Credentials and Proofs)
- QR Code scanner
- Multi-ledger support
- Backup and recovery
- Device biometrics support
- Hyperledger Aries compatibility

New features

Updated serveral ledger files.
