I wish I had read the reviews before we bought this alarm system! I have a Motorola G6 phone and had problems with the initial installation. After calling the helpline, this was finally achieved, but I've had endless problems since then too. All the accessories I'd installed had disappeared by the next day and had to be reinstalled; it is almost impossible to delete and rename accessories as the swipe function only works every hundredth time you swipe; the app keeps freezing showing the hub off-line every time you go into it so you have to forcibly close the app each time. Very disappointing and am seriously considering returning the whole system. The alarm system itself seems fine, but when it is controlled by an app that doesn't work it is completely useless!

The alarm system itself is great and notifications to the phone are prompt and informative but the app is a little temperamental. I have had issues naming & deleting sensors, which sometimes works but sometimes the delete icon can't be pressed. Additionally the notification sound seems to cut through silent mode and can only be silenced by turning the media volume down. I can see why it does this but in my case I have all notifications alerting on my smartwatch to keep my phone quiet.

I had many issues with the install of the home cloud system on my Samsung S7 edge phone. A call to Era's helpline sorted it. Their technical dept was outstanding. I had 3 occassions to call them for installing my home guard pro system. (NOT all to do with this App) Every tech adviser was excellent and talked me through the processes. Well done ERA.

Update 14/5/20. Updated and now all good on my S10+ and the wife's iPhone XS. Thanks ERA for fixing the issue. Good app, works well. Needs an update for Android 10 on S10 plus as the icons at the bottom of the screen are cut off and app doesn't support full screen properly

If you have an android, good luck. I bought the ERA large system and this app is not Samsung friendly. IPhone, cool, great but indont have one. Eg: renaming the sensor/detector names is a no go on Samsung but easily done on iPhone. Big let down there. The rest is okay. Easy enough to set up

ERA and HomeGuard are a waste of money and time. A worthless alarm that will give sleepness nights. The app is terrible. The service is terrible. They don't seem to know nothing about any issues with the app. Save your money. And look for another system
