I have a 4.2 android jelly bean (rooted) and despite the ratings on this app it did not work on my tablet .And full of commercials u r forced to respond to to clear your screen.Ive tried several of these apps and the only one i found that works perfectly is Screenshot Easy ..i liked it so well i got the pro version.That is my review of this app and its competitors.

Light, fast, simple, customizeable, no root required, and even lets you change the screenshot directory on the fly. I set mine to just save to my camera roll for convenience; took all of about 15 seconds. Has a stylish dark theme too, no premium required. Only major downside is it will occasionally bug you to try other apps and so on. This is one of the few apps I'll consider getting the premium version for since I like using it so much. Try it out -- it's definitely worth your time.

Was trying to find an app to take screenshots and found this one, funny thing about this one is it tells you the reason it WILL NOT take one is because your organization won't let it, huh? My what? To funny it say it takes screenshots but doesn't because of some off the wall never heard excuse. Screenshots to copy a simple phone number or wiring diagram should not have some stupid restriction I've never even heard of. Think it's time to delete this one

Works great easy to use. Even let's you edit screensshot right after you take it. Let's you choose background to let you see you've actually taken the shot against a different background of the shot. Well done and free. So far no ads
