About this app

Real Metal Detector app uses your mobile magnetic sensor to measure magnetic field values and convert any Android into a real metal detector. This App works best detecting ferromagnetic materials, such as iron. It can’t detect non-ferromagnetic materials such as aluminum. App works best detecting up to 15 cm away. This can be used to detect metal. objects such as wires, nails and any other metallic object. this metal detector cannot detect silver, copper and gold because they are non-ferrous, and they don't have magnetic field.
Accuracy of app is all dependent on the sensor of your Mobile device. This app requires magnetometer sensor in your device to run otherwise you cannot be able to detect metal.
Remember that this app uses built-in magnetic field sensor. Not all phones are equipped in such a sensor. Please check it in your mobile specification.
Accuracy of detection can be divided by electronic devices, such as a PC screen or TV set. It's better not to use this application around such devices. Additionally, some phone cases may have metallic parts. Before using the application, you should remove this type of things.
If the magnetic field exceeds a certain limit, the application will alert you through a beep and vibrate. App will immediately detect the metal with beep and will tell you if there is any metal around you or in other places.
Calibration:
Before use this metal detector it should be calibrated. To do this, start an application, raise the mobile phone high and "draw" number 8 pattern in the air. Now you can start playing with the detector. The sensor of the device will reset.
