About this app

'Greco' is a basic level Virtual Assistant application. It can be useful to you in a number of scenarios, such as while you are driving, cooking or whenever your hands are pretty busy doing something else. With 'Greco', you can make a call or compose a text to any of your contacts, you can easily set your calendar events, alarms, browse your gallery, take photo, search for anything over the web etc and even put your phone to any of the modes with just your voice.‘Team Emmae’ is looking forward to many more interesting and unique features which you can expect sooner in the next updates. Other notable features :

• Opens any app installed on your smartphone. Just say : “Open gallery”, “Open Facebook” or you can even say : “show pictures” to open the gallery or “I would like to listen to some music” to play songs from your music player.

•SMS notification when the app is running. If an SMS arrives while the app is running, it notifies you and prompts whether or not to read it. Once you read it, you can directly reply to that message without even touching your phone !

•Googles for any topic on your command. Just say “Google Cricket” or “Search Cricket” to search for cricket.

•Make a call to any contact in your phonebook. Just say : “Call Anthony” to call your contact with the name Anthony.

•Compose and send SMS to any contact in your phonebook. Just say “text Anthony” and say the matter. You are done !

•If you think its difficult to remember an important date such as for a marriage or a meeting, don’t bother to pick your calendar and run desperately through the dates. Just say Greco. Say “schedule an event”. Greco will handle the rest.

•Navigates to any location on your map. Imagine you are driving and you are lost in the midway. Don’t ever bother to stop your car to type in your destination. Just say Greco your destination and you are there. Say “navigate to MG Road” which picks your current location or say “show the route from Kochi to Calicut” where you can specify your source address too.

•Or if you are lost in some place you don’t know, just ask Greco where you are. Simple as that. Say “where am I”.

•Searches for almost anything over Google map. Say you are hungry, and Greco brings you the best restaurants around you. Or say “I want to have my dinner at an Italian restaurant” and there you are! If you are feeling sick, just say you’re not feeling well. Pretty good right??

•You can make a straight forward look up for nearby services like – Hospitals, Banks, Theatres, Schools, Police stations, places of worship, fuel stations and much more.

•Identifies any song playing behind you. Just say “identify this song”.

•Sets instant timer. Could be helpful in times. Say “set timer for a minute” or so.

•Sets alarm at the said time. Just say “set an alarm at 10.30pm”

•Controls the profiles on your phone. Just say “activate silent mode” or “put the phone to general mode” etc.

•Weather forecast from Yahoo weather. If you are planning an outing to a tourist destination, don’t get fooled by the bad climate again. Just ask 'Greco' about the weather there. Say “how is the weather in Ooty” , or even you can obtain the weather at your present location by saying “how is the weather” or “how is it outside”.

•If you have any doubt whether it will rain shortly, just ask Greco “do I need to take my umbrella? ” or “will it rain today”. Greco will analyse the current weather for you.

•Answers any question. 'Greco' uses 'Wolfram Alpha', the computational knowledge engine for finding answers to its users questions.

•Translation to over 40 languages.

•Direct lookup on 'Wikipedia'.

•If you want to UPDATE 'Greco', just ask him to do so. Say, 'Update Greco' or 'Update yourselves' ;)
