This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Encrypt It - MkII on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

Firstly, thank you very very very much for such a useful app :) However there is a major flaw in implementation, i.e. the mki or the mkii & mkiii versions are not compatible with each other. Best practices for software versions dictates that the most recent version of any software be backward compatible with previous version. Because of this users will be faced with the possibility that if their device is android v4.3 in which you have to install mkiii because mkii will not work on Android v4.3, you will then be able to create encrypted texts as normal but friends/family using devices that are not Android 4.3 will not be able to decrypt encrypted message you send to them and the reverse is also correct i.e. if someone with an Android version below 4.3 using either mki or mkii encrypts a message and sends it to a user with a device with Android v4.3 or above, they will not be able to decrypt it. This is a major problem, as many many devices still have Android versions below 4.3. Please please please address this issue, even if you have put a price on a "new version" that is downward compatible with Android versions below v4.3, I am sure many people will buy it. Thank you :)

Great software. Flawless. I could encrypt and decrypt even Bangla language texts smoothly. All I need to TEST now is to encrypt it here and decrypt it somewhere else. I will be back with the results once I get the opportunity to perform the test.

After trying EncryptIt , didn't work because of the android version, I installed this version and does exactly what it says.

About this app

A multi purpose utility to encrypt any text.

It utilizes best practices encryption to ensure your data is safe from prying eyes.

Encrypt your emails, messages, memos, notes, appointments, etc.

- Uses 256bit AES encryption
- Uses salting to enhance the security of the seed/password to withstand brute force attacks and rainbow tables.
- Uses salting and vectors to randomize the output to further enhance security.

Instructions:
To encrypt:
1. Type or paste text that is to be encrypted.
2. Enter a seed (password), and hit the Encrypt button.

The output is the scrambled text which can be save in an application or sent to someone.

To decrypt:
1. Paste the scrambled text to the application.
2. Enter the seed (password) and hit the Decrypt button.

Note:
Due to the recent rise of malware distribution, the application EncryptIt is only available on the Google Android Market. This application does not exist on other third party Android market places.
